That is right folks. This FRIDAY night is the last chance to earn your way into the new AWPT PLATINUM CLUB. The first event in our Platinum Club Series will be Friday the 16th. So go to the FORUM right now and get the PASSWORD and join up in the greatest AWPT Exhibition Series ever!

So try to get in the CHEAP way!!!!

The end of the year PLATINUM CLUB Champion will receive an AWPT Trophy and a $150 buy-in to an event on Full Tilt.

SATTELITE FOR THE PLAT CLUB

Tonight is the first of TWO feeder games to get you into our EXCLUSIVE AWPT PLATINUM CLUB. The feeder event will only cost you $5 to get in. The actual PLATINUM CLUB game will be a cost of $40. So try to get in the CHEAP way!!!!

THE PLATINUM CLUB

Starting in 2009, the AWPT will start a new, EXHIBITION league, called the AWPT PLATINUM Club. The Platinum Club will play every 3rd Friday of the month.

This event will be a BUY-IN event. The buy-in will be $40+4. So the MAIN event for the month of January is the 16th. However leading up to this event will be TWO sattelite tournies on the 2nd and the 9th.

There will be standings kept for this exclusive league, and at the end of the year a AWPT Trophy will be presented to the WINNER and a buy-in to a $150 event on Full Tilt. Points for the standings will be given out as inverse of the amount of players that take part in it.

This series will also rotate the games played through the games of HORSE.

THE T.O.C.

The Tournament of Champions is the year ending MAJOR for the AWPT. It was attended this season by 54 players, who either won an event in 2008, or were former PLAYERS OF THE YEAR. This is event is created to feature the best playing only the best.

The top of that player heap this season is AAKills. The WIN puts this player into the #4 spot in the WORLD RANKS and from here on out, this player will be able to say, "I WON A MAJOR." Which is something that only a handful of players can say. The WIN was the 2nd in this players fine season. This player also had 14 FINAL TABLES, 47 EVENTS and $78.75 in EARNINGS. The EARNINGS was second in the league only to Fake McCoy.

So we have another first time MAJOR WINNER? When will a MAJOR winner be a repeat? 2009 will be here soon, good luck all.
